Our shipping routes

A suitable carrier for each destination.

Packlink supports a large part of our shipping workflow. Packlink is the shipping platform; your parcel is delivered by the carrier booked for that shipment.

DE

Germany

DPD · UPS

For deliveries within Germany we primarily use DPD and UPS. The exact service is selected for the parcel and destination. Tracking is provided whenever the booked service supports it.

DPD publishes a regular transit time of 1–2 business days for DPD CLASSIC within Germany after handover.

EU

European Union

DPD · UPS

Orders to EU destinations are mainly shipped with DPD or UPS. We choose a suitable service based on destination, parcel size and available routing.

DPD publishes regular European transit times of around 1–4 business days for DPD CLASSIC after handover.

INT

International

DHL

For destinations outside our regular EU routes we primarily use DHL. International transit times depend strongly on the destination country, customs processing and the booked DHL service.

For international shipments, the tracking information and destination-specific routing are the best source for the current delivery status.

Note: carrier transit times begin only after handover to the parcel service. Production/processing time, weekends, public holidays, customs clearance, islands, remote areas and exceptional transport events can extend the total delivery time.

From order to doorstep

How shipping works at SBMiniatures.

01

Order

You order your miniatures and see the shipping options configured for your address in the cart or checkout.

02

Production & check

After production and finishing, the order is visually checked again before packing.

03

Protective packing

Delicate areas are positioned and cushioned to reduce stress on fragile details during transport.

04

Book shipment

We select the intended route — mainly through Packlink with DPD/UPS in Germany and the EU, or DHL for international destinations.

05

Tracking

Once tracking is available, you can follow the shipment through the respective carrier.

Packaging for resin miniatures

Fine details need more than just a box.

Resin allows very fine weapons, tips, horns, wings and other details. Those areas are more sensitive to pressure and impact, so packing is not only about the outer box — the position of the miniature inside the parcel matters just as much.

01

Suitable parcel size

Enough room for cushioning without letting the contents move unnecessarily inside the box.

02

Protect delicate parts

Protruding details should avoid direct pressure from packing material or other models wherever practical.

03

Checked before dispatch

The order is checked for obvious damage and completeness before packing.

Shipping costs

Checkout shows the price for your delivery address.

We deliberately avoid a blanket shipping-rate table when actual costs depend on destination, parcel and available service. The shipping method shown in the cart or checkout is the relevant option for your specific order.

Additional charges may apply outside the EU.

Shipments to destinations outside the EU customs area may be subject to import VAT, duties or handling fees depending on the destination. Requirements vary by country and can affect transit time.

  • ✓ Customs information is prepared for the relevant shipping route.
  • ✓ Import charges are determined by the destination-country rules.
  • ✓ Customs processing can extend international delivery times.
Frequently asked questions

Questions about shipping, tracking and delivery.

The key answers about shipping your resin miniatures.

Which carriers does SBMiniatures use?+

We handle a large part of our shipping workflow through Packlink. Within Germany and the EU we primarily ship with DPD and UPS; international shipments are primarily sent with DHL. The carrier shown in your shipping confirmation is the carrier actually handling your parcel.

How are shipping costs calculated?+

The shipping methods and prices available for your delivery address are shown in the cart or checkout. Costs can depend on destination, parcel dimensions, weight and the shipping service available at the time of the order.

How long does delivery take?+

Delivery time consists of any stated production or processing time plus carrier transit time. DPD currently publishes regular DPD CLASSIC transit times of 1–2 business days in Germany and around 1–4 business days within Europe after handover. UPS and DHL times depend on the selected service and destination. These are carrier estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates from SBMiniatures.

Will I receive tracking?+

For trackable parcel services, we provide the shipment or tracking number once the parcel has been prepared and handed into the shipping workflow. Tracking updates are generated by the respective carrier.

How are delicate resin miniatures packed?+

Before dispatch, miniatures are visually checked and packed to reduce pressure on protruding details. We use appropriately sized outer packaging and cushioning so that weapons, horns, wings and other fine parts have as much protection and clearance as practical during transport.

Do you ship outside the EU?+

Yes. International shipments are primarily sent with DHL. Availability, transit time and shipping cost depend on the destination country and are shown according to the shipping options configured for your address.

Can customs duties or import taxes apply?+

For deliveries outside the EU customs area, import VAT, customs duties, carrier handling fees or other charges may apply depending on the destination. Unless explicitly stated otherwise during checkout, such charges can be collected separately by customs authorities or the delivery carrier.

What should I do if a miniature arrives damaged?+

Please contact us promptly and send clear photos of the affected miniature and the shipping packaging. Do not discard the packaging immediately, as photos or the packaging itself may be useful when assessing transport damage.

What if tracking has not updated for several days?+

Carrier scans are not always generated at every transport step, especially on international routes. If the parcel is clearly beyond the expected carrier transit window, contact us with your order number so we can review the shipment.

Can I change the delivery address after ordering?+

Contact us as soon as possible. We can only change an address while the order has not yet been handed over to the carrier. After dispatch, possible delivery changes depend on the carrier and the booked service.
